About Library

NIEPMD Library has unique collection of Information resources in the form of CD-ROMS, E-Journals, E-Books, Books, Braille Books, Journals, thesis, Dissertations and Research reports related to Multiple Disabilities. All Student, Faculty Members and employees of the Institute are entitled to make use of the Library facilities on taking library membership. A user-friendly SOUL 2.0 (Library management software) and barcode scanner adopted in the library to automate the library management work. NIEPMD Library also has a lifetime membership in National Digital Library of India (NDLI), developed by the Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur, and Sponsored by the Ministry of Education. The Students and staff can access more than 48,984,683 books through this portal.

Library Membership and Loan period

All student, faculty and employees of the institute are entitled for the membership of the library. Library membership form is available at the circulation counter/ NIEPMD website at central library.

Borrowing Rules

Library staff should check throughly for missing page, chapter etc.while issue and return the books. Books in damaged condition will not be accepted, borrower should replace the same book to the library.
